WHAT HAPPENED?
Luiz performed a shoulder shimmy celebration after scoring the equaliser for Aston Villa in the second half. The Brazilian did the celebration right in front of Raphael Varane which angered the French defender. After Scott McTominay scored the winning goal in the 86th minute, Varane confronted Luiz and got involved in a heated altercation.
After the game, Ten Hag claimed that Luiz's celebration might have motivated his team to score a late goal and pick up all three points.
